Am I the only one who is annoyed with Shakespeare?

I am just fed up with everyone saying he is the greatest all the time. I have read his plays and sonnets etc but I don't see what is so great about it.I find them depressing and lifeless and Macbeth was terrible..Does anyone feel the same, what are your thoughts on Shakespeare?
