Do you think it's a good idea to tell kids about Santa Claus?

This is pretty interesting, but I don't think Santa is a negative thing. I think he's something magical that kids can believe in. It's what makes Christmas magical. The feeling that something is going to be there the next morning that wasn't there before. That some very nice man comes and gives you presents because you've been good that year. It gives kid some initiative to be nicer and think about what they're doing. The trick is to make sure the kids know when they're older and stop believing that some kids didn't get anything for Christmas when they did.
