Pimple-like bumps on my arms, What is it ??!!?

Okay so i have these smallish-mediumish pimple like bumps on my arms. They are red and i have a lot on my arms. It's embarring. I don't like to take my jacket off thinking everyone will stare && say " Ewww ". Does anyone know how to get rid of it ? i think its called keratosis-pilaris. PLEASE HELP !!
