Help me out!?

I was working in my warehouse, and we just got an order of struts in. I had to put them away, and they are usually tied up with plastic bands that I cut with my leatherman knife. Well, it was dark, and after cutting all of the bands, I realized that they were metal bands, and my leatherman's straight edged knife if really dule now. I tried sharpening it with my whetstone, but it wouldn't sharpen, what do I do?
